If we're not selling your attention, we don't have to fight you to keep it. The fee is small and the app is yours.
Narrow on purpose.
Each app does one thing well. No platform creep, no dashboards-of-dashboards, no features-as-marketing. Smaller surface = fewer bugs = more time on what matters.
Quiet by default.
Notifications, badges, and streaks are off until you turn them on. Education and relationships should not feel like a slot machine.
